This is a great website that constantly features some of the World Wide Web's worse examples of websites. The sites have anything from poor design to difficult navigation or user interface. It's a great site to review when creating your own.
This website is perfect for picking color themes for your website. In fact, I used it to help me create this website. There are six different types of color pairing to choose from, and you can change everything from the hue to the contrast and even view an example of the colors on a light and dark version of a website. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to create a website.
This is an online community that develops open standards to promote the long term growth of the web. They have everything from the World Wide Web standards, to tutorials and how-to's for CSS and HTML. I used a few of their tutorials such as the music embedd and marquee when creating this website.
The final website, is the home page of the university that I attend. I'm including it, because I use it so much, and it's very easy to navigate. Even though it has a horizontal menu bar at the top and three columns that have links, I can always find what I'm looking for since it's laid out so well. It's also well designed, welcoming, and informative, and it's a great web design example.
